All we have is our own interpretations and feelings. It is nothing but interpretations and feelings that made you choose the Abrahamic god over Zeus, Odin and other mythological characters. Religion is our personal beliefs regarding human existence and spirituality that guide our choices and lifestyles. The truth you're talking about can't be measured or validated because it supposedly requires you to believe it before you actually get anything plausible out of it. If you believe something and devote your life to it before it's proven to you, then it doesn't need to be real lol. It's already real in your head, and we're right back to square 1 again.
If Spud's goals become to bring people to Jesus, then he's really just doing what Fathom's company was doing. Haha I guess that has different storytelling value for the rest of us. Good luck with your series anyway.

I left a review saying this too, but I love the metaphor you used with the artificial superheroes and villains, and it saddens me that this series hasn't gotten more play so far. It has my complements. What also saddens me is that I sense religion approaching in this series...
Lets just make sure we pay attention to ALL the artificial heroes and villains in real life, not just the ones that were created recently. I'll leave it at that B3

I would say Christian doctrine approaching, not religion. Religion is what Jesus opposed and encouraged Relation. He said the greatest commandment is to love God, the second being to love one another.
Not just artificial heroes and villains but deceptive feelings that are created through such things. And make sure we judge things by truth, not truth created through our own personal interpretation or feelings (or lack there of), but truth that stands true when sought out.
