"SPUD - part 2" is finally finished and right on schedule. Though I could have finished it earlier but music and lack of motivation got in the way.
I'm pretty slow at animating (even with my simple style of animating) but I think that may be because of trying to animate in new ways. But I'm going to try and complete 2 more animations before the end of the year (and not little ones at that). It may be ridiculous considering it took me 8 months to do my first 2 films this year but I think I can pull it off if I push myself.
The next one I've already spent 15 hours on but I think I can knock it over in a month.
edit: Actually no I'll do Spud- Part 3 first then the other film. Actually I've been working on the history and end of Spud throughout Spud 1 & 2 but not including that I'm only 6 hours in and only up to the third storyboard draft.
And that leaves SPUD - Part 3 to do over the remaining 3 months.
And also, God willing, I'll create 1, 2, or 3 more Spud films that lead up to "Spud - part 1".
edit: but it may be a while till I animate it because it will require a lot more, I think I'll only make the film/s of the beginning's if I get help with the animation.
Oh also check out some of the things I made while unmotivated with SPUD 2.

I left a review saying this too, but I love the metaphor you used with the artificial superheroes and villains, and it saddens me that this series hasn't gotten more play so far. It has my complements. What also saddens me is that I sense religion approaching in this series...
Lets just make sure we pay attention to ALL the artificial heroes and villains in real life, not just the ones that were created recently. I'll leave it at that B3

I would say Christian doctrine approaching, not religion. Religion is what Jesus opposed and encouraged Relation. He said the greatest commandment is to love God, the second being to love one another.
Not just artificial heroes and villains but deceptive feelings that are created through such things. And make sure we judge things by truth, not truth created through our own personal interpretation or feelings (or lack there of), but truth that stands true when sought out.
